Separate conference fee ...

This sounds like a brilliant idea, but wait ... what? There's a separate conference fee???
So, you add another conference in the middle of Lotusphere, overlapping schedule wise so that you can't get full benefit from either agenda, and then charge AGAIN?
From my point of view, that seems quite unreasonable, and trying to pitch the idea to my management is simply impossible.
Perhaps the beginning of a new trend? Raising the conference fee by adding extra services with their own fee.
What next? Charge to visit the labs? Meet the developers? $199 to see the OGS?

Lars,
The intent of the line of business-focused tracks is to get business people that don't typically attend Lotusphere involved. I'm not sure any of my line of business customers would sit through the rest the conference - it gets pretty technical. Packaging up a couple days of focused industry specific content is exactly how this conference is going to grow and become meaningful to executives. They want to know how they benefit exactly - not in general terms. Let's put what we're all passionate about in business terms and watch what happens.
Good things happen when you put collaboration in terms of your customers business...
Why do they care? #LotusKnows

So not an Add-on, but an either/or?

Brian,
So you don't need to attend Lotusphere to attend this?
If you don't, and can buy this event seperately, great.
That wasn't the way I read it, though.
